They are similar. A “pimple” is filled with oil, and sometimes also with
dead-skin cells and white blood cells (puss) trying to fight trapped / growing
bacteria. The reason a blackhead is so hard to clear is that it has no oil in
it (even if you’re oily skinned overall), but has trapped dead-skin cells and
white blood cells fighting trapped / growing bacteria … the pore is open,
dirt sticks to it, thus it appears black. The only difference between a
blackhead and whitehead is that, with a whitehead, the pore is closed and dirt
cannot
get to it.

By maintaining soft, moist, “elastic” surface skin and encouraging
exfoliation, it helps … oils such as jojoba help the matter in a blackhead
dissolve
and clear … and products with salicylic acid are the best IMO to further clean
and exfoliate inside the pores, something our non-drug topical products
cannot do.

want to use the dry-up-pimple creams on blackheads or whiteheads or to strip
his skin of the oils he needs … rather, the focus is on assisting his skin to
exfoliate and clear.

Are you sick and tired of using those products are designed to strip the oils
on your face? This results in the oil glands overproducing (more than before) to
compensate for the depleted oil. Your skin needs coaxing into producing less oil while you
maintain a clean face. What you want is thorough cleansing without stripping the
oil’s acid-mantle barrier. This is how to treat acne and oily skin problem.

For the extremely oily, I suggest jojoba. You’ll be amazed at how well it
can help balance this. Steam your face (or splash with very warm water),
apply some jojoba. It is technically a liquid wax most like our sebum,
though it feels oily. It helps to loosen the matter in the pores, softens
surface skin, and helps skin exfoliate properly, while also helping to
balance the level of oil production over time. Mix equal parts ground oats,
dry milk, and sugar – store in water-tight container and do not let water or
steam into the product. To clean your steamed / oiled face, pour about 1
Tbsp of this powder into your hand, add just enough water to make a paste,
and scrub without pressure, as if the oat mix were soft bubbles (let the
powder do the scrubbing for you). Rinse well. As you first start to use,
you may notice more flaking than expected … a wetted washcloth can help
remove extra flakes.

To close pores and assist the less-oil effort, you want something astringent.
However, alcohol is so drying, you’ll be again burning that candle at both
ends. Dimestore witch hazel with only 14% alcohol by volume is the highest
amount of alcohol I’d recommend for anyone. If that proves too drying, look
for less chemical products like Clearpores or Healthypores. You can get them
online.

Some theories are that a little of the right oil as a skin softener help,
others say it’s too much. If acne / clogged pores is a problem, then I’d
consider a drop or less of one of a few oils mixed into between 1 and 2 tsp
of the witch hazel. My experiments with a few vary with the season as to
results – humidity plays a huge role here, as well as temperature of the day

Try this and let me know how it goes …

I know…there are people who eat junk food, smoke all day, drink all
night, and breathe in toxic perfume that they spray on themselves
every night. Yet why don’t they have zits?!!!

That is far more complex to answer than what causes zits.

We all have different constitutions. Meaning, in a physical way we all
respond differently to exactly the same stimulants, or in this case,
toxic overload. Just like some people can handle an emergency
situation and others faint, or cry, or freeze-up.Physically we all react differently.

You know you have a toxic system if:

You drink tap water, wear perfume, use cleaning products daily, breathe toxic fumes,
breathe in plug-in air fresheners, eat and wear produce bought from a supermarket.
Things like commercial shampoos, shower gels, bath salts, soaps, moisturising creams,
nail varnish, make-up, frozen foods, salad in bags, white bread, any white flour products,
dairy products, meat products (highly acidic), crisps, chips, sauces of any kind, low-sugar
products…wear polyester, chiffon, lycra….etc the list is endless…

If you even consume or wear any of the above things I have just
mentioned you will be consuming daily:

formaldehyde,
Aspertame,
MSG,
parabens,
hydrogenated fats
flouride,
sulphates
Agro chemicals

That’s off the top of my head of chemicals that I know how to spell that I know to
be very harmful.

I know you have all heard the saying ‘heal from the inside out’ – it
sounds logical doesn’t it – but it is not just a case of buying some
detox patches.

What is important is that you do not overwash your face. Most face
washes for acne are so harsh they will strip all the skins oil from
the face. They go on the premise that it is the over-production of oil
that is the problem causing acne. Well i ask: Why do I produce more
oil than what is needed then?

Answer: The skin is one eliminating organ of the body, as well as the
bowels, kidney, liver, bladder.Stripping the natural oils using these
products causes the body to produce more to replace what has just been
stripped off.

So then I asked: Why is my body using my skin to expel toxins and junk
from my body instead of all the other eliminating organs?

And after years of research the answer I know to be true is:
Because all the other eliminative channels of the body can be working
overtime anyway – the skin is the last organ to be used to expel
rubbish from inside the body.

So….this means…(take a big breath) ….clean up your life!

Here’s an acne tip that you may want to look into. It is better to find the root of
the problem and tackle it from there.

One possiblity of acne could be due to our diet. You may want to pick up a book about
eating for your Blood Type. I believe blood types have been tested for compatibility to foods.

Here’s one example that I have picked up : Eat Right 4 Your
Type by Peter J. D’Adamo

Inside there are Food Beverage and Supplement Lists that gives you
lists of foods that are 1. Beneficial for your blood Type, 2.Neutral and 3. Foods to avoid.

Something to think about…

I wanted to follow up from a post I wrote on a forum about a year ago. I was having
severe acne. The stuff from the dermatologist helped, but I could stay on it
forever and it wasn’t a permanent cure for acne. When I stopped the pills/creams,
the acne came back. I tried a different approach and the acne is pretty much
gone and has been since the summer; (I get a few pimples here and there, but nothing big).

The solution was 1 of these 2 things:

1) I avoided dairy for 6 months. There’s no doubt I was allergic to dairy and
it’s said if you avoid the allergan for a certain period (6 months is what I
went with), then your body re-conditions itself and accepts it.

2) I tried EFT, which is also known as acupressure, acupuncture without needles,
and several other names. I went to a specialist that gave me a complete allergy
testing and we treated the things I was allergic to. Later I found a way to do
it on my own and I went through all the foods I eat and ‘tapped’ on each of
them. Sounds silly, but all I can say is the results speak for themselves.

Is it possible the acne just went away and has nothing to do with the above two
things? Maybe, but I really doubt it. It was super bad for 14 months until I did
the above 2 things. But since I did them at the same time, I can’t say which
was the cure. My best guess is it was the second. Yes it requires an effort to
do this. But when your last option is Accutane (as my determotologist
suggested), you have to really think about natural remedies. Shame on him for
not at least mentioning the above as something to look into!!! It was the
response I got from the email below on this board that led me down this path.
And then I recalled something similar a friend in high school experienced.

I don’t know what percentage of people can benefit from this cure for acne, but
worth looking into if you’ve tried everthing else.

cells, white blood cells, DNA – RNA production. Deficiency will
cause major problems like acne, fatigue, possibly Altzemers, hair
loss, cancer – all kinds of major issues (look it up on Yahoo) – NIH
or MotherNature.com.

If you want to be checked, a doctor can check for deficiencies,
but it’s better if they check to see if your blood
cells are normal – deficiency causes them to be oblong instead of
round and they do not complete their cycle – I believe most peoples’
are oblong.

Highly recommended is to take a water-soluble B-Complex to improve your acne.
Brands like Shaklee or Natures Way are excellent. You should notice quite a
difference in your energy, nails, hair and skin. And in 13 weeks, you should doing
very good and if not, there’s only a few more vitamins to get check
for deficiencies (magnesium, potassiium, zinc, copper, Iron, etc.)
(unless there are other underlying factors) – 13 weeks is the time it
takes your blood cells to regenterate – they’re all at differnt
stages, but the newer ones will take 13 weeks.. I’m not to trusting
on the daily recommended % by the usda – everyone is different – so
if you take a BComplex supplement that is water soluable, it will
disolve in your stomach (not intestines)and your body will get rid of
what it doesn’t need.

Food for thought…and it doesn’t hurt to ask your doctor!

It is important to approach Acne from the inside out as well as the outside in.
By this I mean we have to boost the immune system with powerful antioxidants
while nourishing the skin from he outside with vitamins that are protected from
air and penetrate the epidermis to the dermis.

Lastly, there are many individual triggers too which need to be addressed. For
some, it is sunshine, for some it is chocolate/caffeine, and for others it can
me a mirad of things.

Be gentle with your skin; it is an important organ.

layers of your skin and aid in the regeneration of new skin.

These peels are offered in a series of about 5 or 6…once a week. By
the 3rd peel you will notice a difference in the texture as well as the
appearance of scars. The skin tone will also improve greatly.

They can be expensive in a spa, but if you can find a school of
Aesthetics within your community…(just like a school for hairstyling)
these types of procedures are offered at a very low price. They will
be provided to you by a student, but will be supervised by the
teacher.

The both of you, (student and yourself) will benefit from it. Your scars
will lighten or be removed and the student will get client experience.
