I don’t know if anyone has taken this route, but I find that chemical
peels help a lot. Glycolic Acid peels (made from sugercane) will remove the uppermost
layers of your skin and aid in the regeneration of new skin.

These peels are offered in a series of about 5 or 6…once a week. By
the 3rd peel you will notice a difference in the texture as well as the
appearance of scars. The skin tone will also improve greatly.

They can be expensive in a spa, but if you can find a school of
Aesthetics within your community…(just like a school for hairstyling)
these types of procedures are offered at a very low price. They will
be provided to you by a student, but will be supervised by the
teacher.

The both of you, (student and yourself) will benefit from it. Your scars
will lighten or be removed  and the student will get client experience.
