While some people have to deal with pimples on a regular basis, there are others who get those pimples seldom and instead have to deal with constant outbreaks of blackheads. The good news though is that a blackhead treatment is easy to find and use in comparison to whiteheads. The only downfall is that blackheads will take more time to work with and results in more scarring when compared to whiteheads.

For a blackhead treatment, you have several options. You can go to the store and pick up some of those strips which will help on certain regions of the face, but not all. You can see a dermatologists for an expensive chemical peel treatment or some other abrasion technique. You can even go to a spa to get the same things at slightly lower costs, o you can make your own.

If you want to do your own, it is important to remember that it is milder and will take more treatments but it will work. Grab some lemons or limes and juice them so you have fresh citrus juice lying around. Using a cotton ball, apply this acidic juice to the skin and it will dissolve the blackheads and also help to repair acne scars from the days of old.
